Avery Burrell
(B.A.T.D Associate Teacher Training / RAD Student Member)
Avery Burrell has been dancing at Cumbrae since 2013. She has studied ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, tap, and Irish. Avery is working towards her associate qualification with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD). She has completed her Advanced Foundation and is now training towards the Advanced 1 Ballet level certification with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).
Avery has attended numerous workshops & master classes over the years with The Goh Ballet, Canada's National Ballet, The Alberta Ballet School to name a few. She has taken every opportunity to try new styles under a variety of industry teachers & choreographers such as Jeff Dimitriou, Nick Anthony, & Jay Fagan. Avery has furthered her ballet training by attending Quinte Ballet School's pre-professional program in 2021 and has been accepted to the professional program at Alberta Ballet School, though declined the invitation due to Covid-19.

Avery has been a nominee at the North American Trixie Hardy Theatre Dance Scholarships for five consecutive years.

Avery is teaching jazz at the studio this year.
