The Cumbrae School of Dancing

Eden Nowiski (ARAD, BATD Associate Member) has danced at Cumbrae since she was 6 years old and has explored various styles as a student including ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and modern. For many years, she was also part of the teaching apprentice program at Cumbrae.

 

Eden holds her RAD Advanced 2 RAD ballet certificate with distinction. She also completed the RAD's Discovering Repertoire Level 3 examinations, with high distinction.  Eden attended Canada's National Ballet School Professional Division summer intensive in 2019. For many years, Eden was a nominee & finalist at the BATD North American Theatre Dance Scholarships, based upon her excellent examination results in ballet, jazz, and modern.  Eden danced with Ballet Jorgen in its performance of Sleeping Beauty, performed in the RAD Canada Dance Challenge, and was part of Dancer's Give Back; a charity performance in support of Youth Mental Health in Ottawa.

 

Eden is currently an undergraduate student at Telfer School of Management, the Vice President of Social Affairs for AéTSA, and currently works as a business coordinator at Bank of Canada.
