Madeleine Erazo
Madie Erazo (BATD Full Member) has been dancing at Cumbrae since the age of three. She has trained in ballet, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop, receiving her associate and membership teaching qualifications in jazz with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing. Through the Royal Academy of Dancing, Madie has completed her Advanced 1 Ballet level, as well as the Grade 7 level with high distinction.
Most recently, she completed a Master’s in Counselling Psychology at the University of Ottawa with a research focus on chronic bullying and traumatic stress responses in children and adolescents. She is a Registered Psychotherapist (Q) and works as a private practitioner in the west end of Ottawa, providing talk therapy and play therapy services to children, adolescents, and families ages 4+, with a specialized focus in trauma, anxiety, and parenting support. Madie also works part time at the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association for their registrar office.
