The Cumbrae School of Dancing

Megan Evraire  (A.R.A.D / B.A.T.D Associate Member Jazz & Tap) has been dancing at Cumbrae since the age of 5. Megan completed her associate tap & jazz examinations with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing in 2019. She has studied styles such as jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, Irish and highland. Megan has also completed her Advanced 2 ballet examination with the Royal Academy of Dance in 2019. 

 

Megan has been a nominee in the North American Trixie Hardy Theatre Dance Scholarships for 6 consecutive years. She has also attended Disney's Dance the World in Florida in 2015 and 2018. Megan has participated in the Nutcracker with The Alberta Ballet company, and has also performed in the charitable event, Dancers Give Back for four years.  In 2019, Megan was one of the senior ambassadors for the DGB event, helping to raise over $50,000 for youth mental health.

 

Megan is currently studying Public Relations at Algonquin College.
